SI Group Strengthens Investment Relations with the Government of the Solomon Islands
On March 7, 2025, in Honiara, Solomon Islands, Mr. Jean Lesly Benoit, Deputy CEO of SI Group, held a high-level meeting with the Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, Mr. Jeremiah Manele, to discuss SI Group’s investment commitment toward the nation’s economic future through the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) under the framework of the Selective Investment Incentive Program (SIIP).
During the discussion, Mr. Benoit reaffirmed SI Group’s dedication to job creation and sustainable economic development for the people of the Solomon Islands. He outlined key investment focus areas including tourism, healthcare, renewable energy, and agriculture, emphasizing the Group’s vision of impactful and sustainable investment.

Recognizing the critical role of the SIIP in attracting and facilitating international investments, Mr. Benoit highlighted its importance in creating a favorable business environment for SI Group’s partners and long-term initiatives.
Prime Minister Manele warmly welcomed SI Group’s investment proposals and expressed the Government’s full support. To ensure smooth collaboration and progress, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. McFaddean Aoraunisaka, Chief of Staff, to work directly with Mr. Benoit moving forward.
Mr. Benoit shared: “We are excited about the opportunities emerging in the Solomon Islands. SI Group is committed to being a long-term partner in the nation’s development, contributing to economic growth and creating meaningful employment opportunities for the Solomon Islands’ people.”
