REQUIREMENTS
Applicants
- Age: From above 18 years old
- No criminal records
Individual net worth
Individual net worth not less than EUR 500,000, of which at least EUR 150,000 are the financial assets
Real estate investment
An applicant can choose 1 of 2 following option:
- Buy real estate with a minimum value of EUR 350,000 (EUR 300,000 for real estate located in South Malta or Gozo)
- Lease real estate with a minimum value of EUR 12,000 (EUR 10,000 for real estate located in South Malta or Gozo)
Holding these real estate for at least 5 years
Health insurance
Applicants and accompanying persons must have health insurance covered in Malta.
Maltese Government Contribution
Non-refundable contribution at least EUR 28,000 if buying real estate or EUR 58,000 if leasing real estate
Non-Government Organization Contribution
At least EUR 2,000 for charity, culture, science and art, etc
Non-refundable administrational fee
EUR 40,000
