Investment requirements

EB-5 investors can choose direct investment or invest through a regional center that meet the minimum investment requirements:

USD 800,000 in Targeted Employment Area (TEA)
USD 1,050,000 in the other areas

The minimum investment will be changed every 5 years, starting from 2022

EB-5 investors must prove a lawful source of fund

Create or preserve permanent full-time jobs

EB-5 investors must create or preserve at least 10 permanent full-time jobs for US workers

PROCEDURE

Review documents and sign a contract with SI Group

Submit Form I-526

If Form I-526 has been approved, then wait for the visa interview appointment

Interview with the US Embassy & Consulate. Get a conditional Green Card, which is valid for 2 years

Submit Form I-829

Be granted lawful permanent residence that is valid for 10 years and can be renewed after 10 years
